Hi all, now's the time to confess your love of the old public info films or pifs. does anyone remember the charlie says series, or the billy blunders series? do you have any modern pifs to share with us? here is a modern pif to start you off. i found this one after catching the last few seconds of it after waking up with the tv on early this morning. a little research found it on youtube. it's a modern horses and cars horse safety pif. most pifs are videos, so a blind person can only glean so much, but maybe if those who have some sight, as I don't, might be able to describe this next pif to the rest of us who can hear the audio but can't see the video. it's called think horse safety, and the link is below.

I'm looking forward to your tales. Are there any pifs which scared the sh1t out of you? one that did me was the smoke alarm dolls house one. this basically started off with a little girl putting her doll to bed in the dolls house, the wording was something like, "when you tuck in your children at night, are you putting them to bed, or laying them to rest. then it tells of a housefire's smoke killing a small child in under a minute, the visuals of the outside of the dolls house with the fire in the bottom left hand window and the scaryest bit, the cries of a small child, "mama, mama," then a scream, accompanied by a rising forboding sound. the voiceover saiys, "they'll rely on you to wake them in the event of a housefire, what are you relying on? wake up! get a smoke alarm! the visuals then cut to a blairing smoke alarm.
